Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Rowuv ("the Service"), operated by Rowuv, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to the Rowuv web application at rowuv.com, the Rowuv Chrome Extension, and any related services or APIs.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use Rowuv. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information
  • Keep your login credentials secure
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Not share your account with others

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use Rowuv only for its intended purpose: managing your professional relationships and network. You may not:

  • Use the Service for mass scraping, spamming, or unsolicited outreach at scale
  • Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Use automated tools to access the Service except through our official APIs and extensions
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or any data obtained through it

5. LinkedIn and email integrations

Rowuv integrates with LinkedIn (via the Chrome Extension) and email providers (Gmail, Outlook) to deliver relationship intelligence features. By using these integrations, you acknowledge:

  • You are responsible for complying with LinkedIn's and your email provider's terms of service
  • Rowuv accesses your LinkedIn data through your authenticated browser session, not through unauthorized scraping
  • Email access is granted via OAuth and can be revoked at any time through your email provider's settings or through Rowuv's account settings
  • We are not responsible for changes to third-party APIs or platforms that may affect Rowuv's functionality

6. Your data

You retain ownership of all data you provide to Rowuv, including contacts, emails, and any content you create. We claim no intellectual property rights over your data.

You grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the Service. This includes generating AI-powered briefings, scoring relationships, and detecting changes in your network.

7. Subscription and billing

Rowuv offers paid subscription plans. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the fees associated with your selected plan
  • Automatic renewal at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled
  • Provide accurate billing information

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Price changes will not apply to the current billing period.

8. AI-generated content

Rowuv uses artificial intelligence to generate briefings, relationship scores, and suggested actions. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for professional decisions
  • You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before acting on it
  • AI features may change, improve, or be modified over time

9. Service availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Some features (AI briefings, real-time sync, email processing) require an active internet connection.

We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or security reasons. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.

10. Intellectual property

The Rowuv Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Rowuv, Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rowuv, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, business opportunities, or revenue.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rowuv, Inc. and its founders, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of any third party's rights.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
